Bilbao, Spain – Athletic Bilbao forward Oscar de Marcos has signed a contract extension which ties him to the club until June 2016.
The 22-year-old's previous deal was set to expire next summer, but the highly- regarded Spaniard has now extended his stay after agreeing to the new contract, which carries a buy-out clause of $41 million.
In 15 La Liga games for Bilbao this season, Oscar has scored two goals.
