Oregon State has lost Markus Wheaton to an injury after the star receiver absorbed a big hit from Washington safety Sean Parker.

Wheaton was down on the field for a few minutes after Parker's hit in the second quarter on Saturday night. Wheaton was looking back to pull in a pass from Sean Mannion when he was hit by Parker, jarring the ball free and into the arms of Justin Glenn for an interception.

Wheaton eventually got to his feet and walked off the field without help, but spent the rest of the first half on the bench with trainers sitting on either side of him. Wheaton returned to the sideline after halftime with his pads off. There was no official word on the injury.

Wheaton entered Saturday averaging 109 yards per game receiving. He had two receptions for 25 yards before the injury.
