Oakland signs three

Oakland, CA – The Oakland Athletics signed catcher Landon year contracts on Monday.

Powell played in 36 games last season as the backup catcher and batted .171 with a home run and four RBI.

Barton played in 67 games for the A's and batted just .212 with 21 RBI.

Rosales had just six hits in 61 at-bats, two of them being home runs. He began the season on the 60-day disabled list as he recovered from a fractured right foot.
