Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oakland Raiders signed veteran wide receiver James Jones on Monday.

Jones, who spent the first seven seasons of his career with Green Bay, brings a veteran presence to a young receiving corp.

The San Jose State product has made 47 starts in 104 career games, racking up 310 receptions for 4,305 yards and 37 touchdowns. His 14 receiving scores in 2012 led the league.

Jones was drafted by the Packers in the third round of the 2007 draft.

Also on Monday, the Raiders signed offensive lineman Kevin Boothe.

Boothe, a sixth round pick of Oakland in 2006, played the last seven seasons with the Giants after spending his first with Oakland.

Over his career, he has played in 105 games and has started 62. He has played both guard positions, center and right tackle.
