Parker Smith came off the bench to score 15 points and North Florida held on to defeat Campbell 57-55 on Wednesday night.

Jerron Granberry added 13 points for the Ospreys (5-9, 2-1 Atlantic Sun Conference), who snapped a six-game losing streak.

North Florida led 57-53 on Jimmy Williams' two free throws with 13 seconds left, but Campbell's Amir Celestin hit a layup with 7 seconds left. Smith missed two free throws with 4 seconds to play, giving the Camels (7-6, 1-3) an opportunity to tie, but Celestin missed a running 10-footer at the buzzer.

Lorne Merthie scored 11 points to lead Campbell, which has lost three consecutive games after winning five in a row.

The game was close throughout, with neither team holding a lead of more than six points. There were four ties and 11 lead changes.

Campbell shot 55 percent from the field in the second half (22 of 40).
