WOODSTOCK, Ontario – North Carolina State senior Augusta James won the Canadian Women's Amateur on Friday, shooting a 2-under 69 for a six-stroke victory.
James, from Bath, Ontario, had a 14-under 270 total at Craigowan Golf and Country Club. She broke the tournament and course records Thursday with a 63.
James received spots in the Canadian Women's Open and U.S. Women's Amateur.
Australia's Su-Hyun Oh was second after a 69.
Canada's Brooke Henderson, the 2013 winner, was another stroke back after a 70.
