No. 22 Florida State handles UMass

Paradise Island, Bahamas – Michael Snaer posted 18 points and ranked Florida State Seminoles to a 73-53 win over the Massachusetts Minutemen in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament.

Luke Loucks had 12 points and four steals for Florida State (5-0), which got 11 points and 11 rebounds from Okaro White.

The Seminoles will play Utah or Harvard in the semifinals on Friday.

Raphiael Putney and Maxie Esho scored 11 and 10 points for the Minutemen (4-1), who shot just 28 percent from the floor. Florida State fared slightly better, shooting 35 percent for the game.
