Nice win for Ligue 1 leader Montpellier
Montpellier, France – Souleymane Camara came off the bench to 0 on Sunday to return to the top of the Ligue 1 standings in France.
Montpellier is the lone club in Ligue 1 with four wins through five weeks, and sits atop the standings with a one-point edge over Lyon.
Camara entered the match in the 59th minute, and scored the lone goal with 15 minutes remaining. Garry Bocaly assisted the goal and Camara converted a left- footed shot to the lower left.
Nice remained winless on two points after its third loss this season.
PSG 1, Brest 0
Paris, France - Javier Pastore scored in the 68th minute as PSG edged Brest, 1-0, on Sunday for its third straight win in France's Ligue 1.
Pastore, the prize offseason signing in PSG's more than $100 million makeover, scored his first Ligue 1 goal.
Brest lost for the first time after beginning the season with four consecutive ties.
Nancy 0, Auxerre 0
Nancy, France - Leon Donovan made eight saves as Auxerre earned a 0-0 draw at winless Nancy on Sunday in France's Ligue 1.
Auxerre posted its fourth result through five weeks, as it has a win and three ties. Nancy posted its second draw against three defeats and is just one point off the bottom of the standings.
