NEW YORK (Reuters) - Center Nene could return from injury for the Denver Nuggets if a seventh game is needed on Sunday to decide the first-round NBA playoff series against Utah, his team said Friday.
The Brazilian, who sprained his left knee Wednesday, was averaging 11.4 points and 5.8 rebounds in the series, which Utah leads 3-2.
Johan Petro and Chris Andersen are likely to share time in Salt Lake City Friday in the absence of Nene.
