Nationals ink OF Cameron to minor league deal
Washington, DC – The Washington Nationals signed veteran outfielder Mike Cameron to a minor league deal on Monday, according to MLB.com.
This past season, Cameron split time between the Boston Red Sox and the Florida Marlins, hitting .203 with nine home runs and 27 RBI.
In 16 major league seasons with the Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Mariners, New York Mets, San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers, Red Sox and Marlins, Cameron is a career .249 hitter with 278 home runs and 968 RBI.
