Los Angeles, CA – WBC Super Lightweight Champion Erik Morales had emergency gall bladder surgery last week, prompting a rescheduling of his title fight against Danny Garcia.
The fight was originally scheduled for January 28 at Reliant Arena in Houston, Texas, but will now take place on March 24 at the same venue.
The undercard of James Kikrland and Carlos Molina, a junior middleweight bout, has also been rescheduled to March 24.
