Avery Moore scored 12 of his 15 points in the first half on four 3-pointers and Jacksonville State cruised to an 81-49 win over Division II Fort Valley State on Sunday.

Jeremy Watson added 12 points, Undra Mitchem 10 and all 12 players scored for the Gamecocks (4-3). De'Mario Black had 11 for the Wildcats (0-5).

Jacksonville State had a 51-33 advantage on the boards with Watson grabbing nine. The Gamecocks also made 23 of 30 free throws.

Fort Valley State was limited to 27 percent shooting (14-52) and was just 3 of 17 from 3-point range.

Moore and Mitchem hit treys on Jacksonville State's first two possessions of the second half to make it 44-22. Mitchem's came after a pair of offensive rebounds. The Gamecocks finished with 17 offensive boards, allowing Jacksonville State to get up more shots to off-set 40 percent shooting (25-62).
