Montana to start at QB for Huskies

Washington Huskies redshirt freshman quarterback Nick Montana will start Saturday's game against Oregon State, coach Steve Sarkisian announced via Twitter Thursday.

"Nick Montana will make his first career start this Saturday. So proud, he has earned this opportunity," wrote Sarkisian.

Montana -- son of NFL Hall of Famer Joe Montana -- will take over for starter Keith Price, who aggravated a knee injury in last Saturday's loss to USC.

"Need to get Keith Price fully healthy," continued Sarkisian, "he has had a great season."

Montana completed 9-of-15 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown against USC after replacing Price early in the third quarter.
