Nagoya, Japan (SportsNetwork.com) - Yusaku Miyazato carded a 6-under 65 on Sunday to claim a 2-stroke victory at the Token Homemate Cup.
Miyazato earned his second career victory on the Japan Golf Tour at 14-under- par 270.
Miyazato entered the final round a shot behind overnight leader Daisuke Maruyama, but quickly raced ahead by starting his day with five straight birdies.
After parring his next four holes to make the turn at 13-under, Miyazato tripped to a bogey at the 10th.
However, he bounced right back with three birdies over his next four holes to reach 15-under before a bogey at the 16th dropped him back to minus-14. He parred his final two holes to finish there.
Hiroshi Iwata (67) finished in second place at 12-under, while Koumei Oda (65) took third at 11-under. Nobuhiro Masuda (67) and Adam Bland (69) shared fourth at 10-under.
Maruyama tripped to a 3-over 74 during his final round at Token Tado Country Club Nagoya to fall into a tie for 14th place at 6-under 278.
