A rough week for Missouri just got worse, as the school announced Tuesday they would be suspended starting quarterback Maty Mauk and offensive lineman Malik Cuellar indefinitely.
Per the school's statement:
With Mauk in the lineup, Missouri was already struggling on offense. The Tigers currently rank last in conference in scoring and total offense. Now without their three-year starter at quarterback, how much worse can the offense possibly get?
True freshman Drew Lock is currently listed as the No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart and has taken several snaps this season in rotation with Mauk. Lock is now likely to receive his first career start against South Carolina Saturday.
