Winning games are on the mind of Tennessee Tech football coach Watson Brown.

But he could reach two milestones during the 2013 season.

His Ohio Valley Conference squad will open the season by hosting Cumberland on Aug. 29. When the Golden Eagles play their ninth game on Oct. 26 - Homecoming versus Jacksonville State - Brown will appear in his 300th game as a collegiate head coach.

Also, Brown and his brother Mack, the head coach at the University of Texas, need to combine on 11 wins to break the record for most Division I coaching victories by brothers.

Vince and Bill Dooley hold the record with 362 wins, 201 by Vince and 161 by Bill. The Brown brothers have 352, 230 by Mack and 122 by Watson.

Watson Brown has a 122-190-1 overall record, including 28-39 through six seasons at Tennessee Tech.

The Golden Eagles finished with a 3-8 record, including 1-7 in the OVC, last season.
