Turin, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - AC Milan will attempt to end a run of defeats to Juventus on Saturday when the Rossoneri hits the road to tangle with the league leaders.

Milan has suffered five successive defeats to the Old Lady, but Filippo Inzaghi's team is hoping to build on its last performance and use a few new additions to pull off the upset.

A 3-1 win over Parma last weekend snapped Milan's three-match losing skid in all competitions as Jeremy Menez tallied a goal in each half to help Milan claim three points and remain in the top half of the league.

Inzaghi will hope a few of his new signings can also have an impact as Milan attempts to turn around a disappointing season that has seen just seven wins in 21 league matches.

Forward Alessio Cerci arrived on loan from Atletico Madrid in January, while Mattia Destro, Suso and Gabriel Paletta were also new arrivals.

The additions of Cerci and Destro, in particular, should help to boost the production of the forwards in the Milan team, with midfielders Menez and Keisuke Honda accounting for 18 of the team's 31 goals in league play.

Destro will miss Saturday's game through suspension, however, as will Milan defender Philippe Mexes.

Juventus has been defeated just once in Serie A this term, but the team missed out on a chance to go nine points clear of second-place Roma after being held to a 0-0 draw at Udinese.

The result ended a five-match winning streak in all competitions for Juve, but the club will be attempting to extend its 38-game home unbeaten run in league matches.

Roma is hoping to end a run of four successive draws when the club visits relegation-battling Cagliari, which has won its last two games on home soil.

Third-place Napoli moved five points clear of Lazio and Sampdoria in the race for a Champions League spot thanks to a run of five wins from six games, and the club will host Udinese, while Lazio entertains Genoa on Monday.

Sampdoria is winless in three straight matches in all competitions and the team hosts Sassuolo, mid-table sides Torino and Hellas Verona square off with the two sides separated by four points, Fiorentina hosts Atalanta, second- from-the-bottom Cesena takes on Empoli, which is two points clear of the bottom three, Chievo travels to Parma and Inter Milan plays host to Palermo.
