Paris, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Saturday's men's doubles final at the French Open will pit France against Spain.
An 11th-seeded French tandem of Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin overcame and pairing of Kazakhstan's Andrey Golubev and Australian Samuel Groth, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, while a 12th-seeded Spanish duo of Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez held off Croat Marin Draganja and Romanian Florin Mergea, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3, in Thursday's semifinals at Stade Roland Garros. Granollers and Lopez upset the top-seeded Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike, in the quarterfinals.
All four players will head into Saturday's final seeking a maiden major title.
The winning team will split $545,000.
