AC Milan bolstered its attack on Friday by announcing the signing of Alessandro Matri from fellow Serie A side Juventus.

The 29-year-old, who failed to cement his place in Antonio Conte's Juventus team, was allowed to leave the Turin club following the arrival of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.

Matri is expected to be Milan's third attacking option behind Mario Balotelli and Stephan El Shaarawy while Giampaolo Pazzini recovers from knee surgery.
