Ben Martin fired a five-under 65 on Thursday to take the lead at the TPC Stonebrae Championship, which has been set back by inclement weather.

The first round began after a two-hour weather delay, and play was suspended late in the afternoon because of weather. Play will resume at 11 a.m. (ET).

It isn't the first time the tournament has been plagued by inclement weather. Last year, lengthy fog delays on Sunday led to the event being shortened to 54 holes.

In between Thursday's stoppages, Martin carded a bogey-free round to take a one-stroke lead. Josh Broadaway, Michael Putnam and Brian Stuard all shot 66 to share second place.
