Marc Anthony is following in the footsteps of Jay-Z to become another entertainer in the sports agent business.

The salsa crooner founded Magnus Media this year. The company said Monday it is forming a joint venture that will represent Cincinnati Reds closer Aroldis Chapman.

"So happy to start the week with amazing news. Today we celebrate the creation of MAGNUS Sports, the signing of the 4-time All Star #MajorLeagueBaseball pitcher Aroldis Chapman @_thecubanmissile54 and the association with Praver Shapiro Sports," the singer wrote in a photo with the baseball player.

Praver Shapiro Sports Management is part of the joint venture. It is headed by agents Barry Praver and Scott Shapiro.

Chapman is the hardest throwing pitcher in the major leagues. He is eligible for free agency after the 2016 World Series.

Jay-Z, whose given name is Shawn Carter, is partners with CAA Sports in Roc Nation Sports. It signed Robinson Cano as its first baseball client in 2013.
