Santa Clara, CA – It looks as if Mario Manningham will be playing on the west coast for the next two years, a big change from 2011.
The San Francisco Chronicle was one source to report that Manningham has signed a two-year contract with the 49ers.
Manningham, who has played for the Giants the first four years of his career and was a key factor in New York's Super Bowl win over New England this past season, made 39 receptions for 523 yards with four touchdowns during 12 regular season games in 2011. He missed four contests with a knee injury.
This would be the second big free-agent wide receiver signing in a week for the 49ers, who inked Randy Moss on Monday.
Manningham had three touchdowns over his four playoff games this season, and made a huge 38-yard reception along the sideline during New York's winning drive to beat the Patriots.
