J.J. Mann had a career-high 21 points and Belmont bowled over Ohio Valley Conference rival Tennessee Tech 83-52 Saturday night.

Mann was 7-of-12 shooting and 5 of 6 from 3-point range. Ian Clark also hit five 3-pointers in eight attempts and finished with 19 points. Kerron Johnson had eight points and 10 assists for the Bruins (11-4, 2-0).

Jud Dillard paced Tennessee Tech (6-9, 0-3) with 21 points and 13 rebounds for his fifth double-double this year.

Belmont opened with a 26-3 advantage through the game's first 10 minutes. Mann scored eight points and hit two treys during that span, with Clark capping the run with his second 3-point make with 10:31 left.

The Golden Eagles made 33.3 percent (17 of 51) of their shots, including just 5 of 23 from 3-point range, compared to Belmont's 56.1-percent clip (32 of 57) from the field and 13-of-25 3-point shooting.
