Sunderland confirmed on Monday that the club has completed a loan move for Senegalese defender Kader Mangane that runs until the end of the season.

Mangane arrives at the Stadium of Light from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, and the Black Cats will have the option of making the move permanent at the end of the campaign.

The 29-year-old has spent time in Switzerland as well as France, where he played for Lens and Rennes in Ligue 1.

Mangane becomes the second new arrival at Sunderland this January, joining Bursaspor midfielder Alfred N'Diaye.
