Sea Island, GA – Davis Love III withdrew from the Arnold Palmer Invitational prior to the final round on Sunday, and now we know why.
In the last of a series of tweets on Monday, Love said, "And I am out with a cracked rib, hopefully not too long."
Love, who originally hurt himself on Friday, had planned on playing the Houston Open this week, but is no longer able to do so.
The U.S. Ryder Cup captain owns 20 PGA Tour titles, including the 1997 PGA Championship.
