Bryant Mbamalu had a career-high 20 points and J.J. Thomas posted his third straight double-double as Louisiana-Lafayette routed Centenary 94-62 on Wednesday night to keep the Gentlemen winless this season.

Centenary (0-20) saw the nation's longest NCAA Division I losing streak extended to 25 games.

Thomas had 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Ragin' Cajuns (4-14), who ended a three-game skid and have won only three times since Dec. 19.

Louisiana-Lafayette scored 35 points off 24 turnovers by the Gentlemen while shooting 61.5 percent from the field (40 of 65), winning the battle of the boards 37-27 and outscoring Centenary in the paint 64-20.

The Gentlemen, who shot 38.8 percent (19 of 49), got within eight points early in the second half, but the Ragin' Cajuns went on a 20-4 run to lead 65-41 with 11:10 to go.

Maxx Nakwaasah led Centenary with 19 points.
