Despite winning big on the football field last weekend versus Ole Miss, Jim McElwain and the Gators took a hit in the realm of recruiting.

Rivals.com 3-star athlete and 2016 prospect Tyrek Tisdale opted to open up his recruitment on Monday, announcing the decision on his Twitter page.

The Orlando native is versatile enough to play at safety or as a running back. He recently went on an official visit to Oregon State, and also possesses offers from the likes of Miami, Louisville, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio State, and South Carolina.

Despite the decommitment, Florida has 20 committed prospects on the year. Should McElwain's team continue to win in impressive fashion, there could be a bundle of talented prospects across the Southeast lining up to play in Gainesville.
