Liverpool agreed to a deal with Dutch club Heerenveen for Morocco winger Oussama Assaidi on Thursday.

Assaidi, 24, has to undergo a physical to complete the move on an undisclosed fee. Capped 22 times for Morocco, Assaidi scored 20 goals in 68 appearances at Heerenveen.

He is the third summer addition for new Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, who previously signed Italian striker Fabio Borini from Roma and Wales midfielder Joe Allen from Swansea.
