Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Brittany Lincicome rallied to defeat Stacy Lewis in a playoff and win her second major title at the ANA Inspiration on Sunday, which vaulted Lincicome up to No. 7 in the world rankings.

Lincicome, who also won the championship in 2009, improved 11 spots from No. 18 to No. 7.

Lydia Ko, who saw her under-par streak of 29 straight rounds come to a halt last week as she struggled to a 3-over 291 finish, remained the No. 1 player in the world for another week.

With her runner-up finish, Lewis jumped up to No. 2 and now leads world No. 3 Inbee Park by 0.05 average points.

Hyo-Joo Kim and Shanshan Feng both stayed put at four and five, while Suzann Pettersen jumped up one to six.

With Lincicome improving 11 spots, So Yeon Ryu fell a pair to eight, while Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson each dropped off one and are nine and 10, respectively.

Amy Yang is once again at No. 11. Cristie Kerr fell two to 12 and Karrie Webb descended a slot to 13. Anna Nordqvist stayed put at 14, while Mirim Lee dropped a pair to 15.

Azahara Munoz, Na Yeon Choi and Q Baek each saw their ranking fall one and they are now Nos. 16-18. Second- and third-round ANA Inspiration leader Sei Young Kim improved three to No. 19 and Jessica Korda dropped one, rounding out the top-20 at No. 20.

The Women's World Golf Rankings announced modifications to the world rankings on Monday. Beginning with eligible tournaments scheduled for the week of March 30, which includes last week's ANA Inspiration, points are now distributed to a value of 0.2. Also, the minimum strength of field is to be reduced from 100 to 50.
