Leverkusen, Germany – Bayer Leverkusen has signed coaching duo Sascha Lewandowski and Sami Hyypia to new three-year contracts, just days after the club finished the Bundesliga season.
The 40-year-old Lewandowski took over on an interim basis with six matches to go in the season and, assisted by Hyypia, helped Leverkusen to fifth place and a Europa League berth.
