Portland, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - Miami Heat forward LeBron James will not play on Saturday against Portland because of two lingering injuries.

James (groin, ankle) has been playing through pain recently and Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has decided to rest him against the 24-5 Trail Blazers, who enter play tied for the best mark in the NBA.

The two-time reigning Finals MVP is averaging 25.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists this season. He has appeared in all 29 games.

On a positive note for Miami, Dwyane Wade (knee) and Ray Allen (knee) will both return to action after missing Friday's 108-103 overtime loss in Sacramento. Chris Andersen (back) will miss his second consecutive tilt.
