Naples, Italy – Napoli will be without forward Ezequiel 1 defeat to Roma on Sunday.
The Argentina international will now miss Wednesday's match with Genoa and will likely be unavailable for the club's first few games following the winter break, which include away matches at Palermo and Siena as well as a home fixture against Bologna.
Lavezzi has tallied three goals in 14 league appearances this season for Napoli, which sits in sixth place in Serie A.
