Late goal helps Toulouse draw Lyon

Lyon, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Martin Braithwaite scored nine minutes from time to help Toulouse salvage a point from a 1-1 draw with Lyon at the Stade de Gerland on Thursday.

Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring in the 24th minute when he collected possession at the top of the penalty area and fired a low shot past Ali Ahamada in the Toulouse net.

But the home side was made to pay to failing to extend its lead as Braithwaite capitalized on a failed clearance late on to smash the equalizer home with a scrappy finish.

The result keeps the two sides level as they improve to 20 points apiece.
