El Segundo, CA – Kobe Bryant's status is day-to-day after the Star Game.
The Lakers said Tuesday that Bryant's nasal fracture was confirmed by an ear, nose and throat specialist. A neurologist later diagnosed the star with a concussion.
Bryant's nose was left bloodied after a hard foul by Miami's Dwyane Wade in the third quarter of Sunday's game. Results of a CT scan after the game showed that Bryant suffered a nasal fracture.
The Lakers guard passed Michael Jordan as the all-time leading scorer in All- Star Games after netting 27 points in the West's 152-149 victory.
Bryant has averaged 28.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 34 games this season. The Lakers host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night in their first post-break game.
The team said Bryant would be re-evaluated Wednesday by the neurologist who diagnosed his concussion.
