The Los Angeles Lakers appear to be ready to give Peace another chance.

The Lakers are discussing possibly reuniting with eccentric forward Metta World Peace on a one-year deal, Yahoo Sports/FOX Sports 1 NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday.

World Peace last played in the NBA with the New York Knicks, who waived him during the 2013-14 season. He played four seasons with the Lakers from 2009-13, helping them win the 2010 championship. He played last season in China and Italy.

World Peace, 35, has played with six teams (Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Lakers and Knicks), averaging 13.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals during his 15-year career.
