The Los Angeles Lakers waived forward Chris Douglas-Roberts on Monday.

Douglas-Roberts had signed with the Lakers earlier this month.

The three-year veteran spent the 2011-2012 season playing for Virtus Bologna of the Italian League and averaged 12.3 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest.

The former second-round pick out of Memphis has averaged 7.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game over the course of his NBA career.

The Lakers also announced the release of center Greg Somogyi. Their training camp roster now stands at 16 players.
