New York, NY – Baylor remained the top team in the latest Associated Press women's college basketball poll.
The Lady Bears received all 39 first-place votes for a total of 975 points from a nationwide media panel.
Connecticut, Notre Dame, Stanford, Maryland, Duke, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Miami-Florida and Kentucky complete this week's top 10. The Aggies fell four places from fourth after a loss to Purdue on Sunday.
The second 10 consists of Rutgers, Purdue, Ohio State, Georgia, Louisville, Texas Tech, Penn State, North Carolina, Georgetown and DePaul. Louisville dropped five places after losing at Kentucky on Sunday.
Green Bay, Delaware, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma and Texas are the last five teams ranked this week. Oklahoma tumbled six places after a loss to Ohio State on Sunday.
There were no newcomers to the poll this week.
The top game on this week's schedule pits Texas A&M at Connecticut on Tuesday, while Thursday features a battle between Duke and Kentucky.
