The Los Angeles Kings rallied from a two-goal deficit against the New York Rangers in the third period Saturday night, sending Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals into overtime.

Marian Gaborik tied it with 12:24 left after Dwight King scored early in the third period for the Kings, who also rallied from an early two-goal deficit to win the series opener.

Jarret Stoll and Willie Mitchell also scored for Los Angeles, and Jonathan Quick made 25 saves.

Mats Zuccarello and Derick Brassard had a goal and an assist apiece for the Rangers, who blew three two-goal leads in Game 2. Ryan McDonagh and Martin St. Louis also scored, and Henrik Lundqvist made 28 saves.
