L.A. acquires Robinson from Toronto for Davies

Carson, CA – The Los Angeles Galaxy acquired defender Dasan Robinson from Toronto FC on Thursday in exchange for defender Kyle Davies.

Robinson, 27, just joined Toronto FC in late July in a trade with the Chicago Fire. Toronto sent defender Dan Gargan and a second-round pick in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft for Robinson, who did not make a league appearance for TFC.

Drafted by Chicago in 2006, Robinson played in five of the team's first seven games this season, making two starts, before being traded. Davies did not play for L.A. in MLS this season.
