Brooks Koepka fired a 5-under 66 on Sunday and cruised to a 7-stroke win at the Montecchia Golf Open.

The American finished his second Challenge Tour victory at 23-under-par 261. The final round was completed after a 45-minute delay due to thunderstorms.

Koepka, 23, carded birdies at the fifth and eighth. After a birdie on No. 12, he ran off three straight birdies from the 15th to soar to minus-24. However, Koepka tripped to a bogey at the last to trim his winning margin by a shot.

That closing bogey was just his third bogey of the week at Golf Club della Montecchia. He carded 24 birdies and an eagle against those bogeys.

"It's awesome. I've played pretty much flawless golf all week and only made three bogeys. That just shows I was very consistent in all four rounds," Koepka said. "I was pushing myself today, trying to get as many under as I could. It was disappointing to finish with a bogey at the last, but I don't think that will take the shine off this win. You can't complain about shooting 66 in the final round. It's been a great week."

Agustin Domingo closed with a 3-under 68 to end alone in second at minus-16. Andrea Rota also shot 68 in the final round to take third at 13-under 271.
