Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Kings re-signed defenseman Jeff Schultz to a two-year contract on Monday.
Signed by the Kings last July, he didn't play a game in the regular season, but did appear in seven games in the postseason, helping the Kings win their second Stanley Cup in three years.
A first-round pick by the Washington Capitals in the 2004 draft, the 28-year- old has 11 goals and 75 points in 399 regular-season games.
