Despite setting a franchise record for number of wins in a season and tying the team's best-ever points mark, to say the LA Kings 2015-2016 season ended on a sour note would be an understatement.

The 2016-2017 season is a special one for the LA Kings franchise and its fans. Next season marks the Kings' 50th anniversary and the team will be hosting the league's best at the NHL All-Star Game in January.
