Brazil internationals Kaka and Marcelo both returned to training Tuesday along with Portuguese defender Ricardo Carvalho, Real Madrid announced on its website.

Kaka and Marcelo have both been sidelined over the last two weeks with a right leg injury and left thigh problem, respectively. Carvalho was sidelined with a back injury.

"Marcelo and Kaka joined the rest of the squad in this morning's workout," the club said on its website. "Ricardo Carvalho stepped onto the pitch and trained on his own."

Real Madrid returns from the international break Saturday at Valencia. Madrid leads La Liga, and is atop its Champions League group and already secured of a spot in the knockout stage.
