Top seed Bojana Jovanovski and Olga Govortsova were semifinal winners Friday and will play for the title at the Tashkent Open.

Jovanovski, the only seeded player among the final four, cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 rout of Spain's Maria-Teresa Torro-Flor. The Serb, who also beat Torro-Flor in the first round of the Australian Open earlier this year, will try for her second career WTA title on Saturday. She won last year's event Baku for her maiden crown.

Govortsova, meanwhile, had a bit more difficulty with a 6-2, 7-5 triumph over Luxembourg's Mandy Minella. The native of Belarus has eight career doubles titles, but has yet to come away with a singles crown.

Saturday will mark Govortsova's fourth career singles final. She lost to Lindsay Davenport in 2008 in Memphis, fell to Francesca Schiavone in 2009 in Moscow and came up short against Caroline Wozniacki at Ponte Vedra Beach in 2010.

Jovanovski and Govortsova will meet for the first time Saturday.
