Johnny Manziel,  -- the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner and star Texas A&M quarterback -- will forgo his final two years of college eligibility and enter the National Football League’s 2014 draft, according to a report from NFL.com

Gil Brandt, an NFL Media analyst, reported that the star quarterback submitted his name to the NFL for inclusion in the next draft.

According to The Houston Chronicle,  Ricky Seals-Jones, a Texas A&M wide receiver, said “Johnny’s gone,” in an impromptu remark made Friday night that represents the first public account from an A&M insider of Manziel’s plans. “He’s gone.”
