Jets use franchise tag on K Folk

Florham Park, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Jets announced Friday that the club has placed the franchise tag on kicker Nick Folk.

Folk set a franchise record by converting 23 straight field goal tries to begin a season in 2013 and finished with a career-high 33 in 36 attempts.

The 29-year-old has connected on 103-of-127 field goal tries in four seasons with the Jets.
