Jets place CB Berry on IR

Cortland, NY – The New York Jets have placed cornerback Aaron Berry on injured reserve.

Berry suffered a season-ending knee injury during Friday's practice.

Berry signed on with the Jets last season and played in seven games with the team after he was cut by the Detroit Lions.

The 25-year-old was entering his fourth season in the NFL.

The Jets also signed running back Chad Spann.
