Toronto Blue Jays right-handed pitcher Brandon Morrow is expected to miss about six weeks due to an entrapped radial nerve in his right forearm.

The diagnosis was revealed by Dr. James Andrews, who examined Morrow on Wednesday. Morrow has been on the disabled list with forearm soreness since June 1 and hasn't pitched for the Jays since May 28.

The 28-year-old last saw game action during a rehab start on June 17 for Class-A Dunedin, but was shut down when the soreness persisted.

After the problem continued to bother him while throwing side sessions, he went to see Dr. Andrews.

Morrow has been limited to only 10 starts this season and owns a 2-3 record with a 5.63 ERA. He's spent time on the disabled list during all four of his seasons with Toronto.
