Jaguars release Coleman

Jacksonville, FL – The Jacksonville Jaguars have released cornerback Drew Coleman.

After five seasons with the New York Jets, Coleman signed with Jacksonville as a free agent last July and played all 16 games, starting four, in 2011. He compiled 46 tackles with two interceptions and a pair of sacks.

Coleman, a sixth-round pick by the Jets in 2006 out of TCU, has 165 career tackles and four interceptions in his six-year career.
