West Bromwich, England (SportsNetwork.com) - West Bromwich has finally completed the signing of striker Brown Ideye from Dynamo Kiev after his visa issues were resolved.
The 25-year-old agreed to a deal with West Brom two weeks ago that was worth a club record $17 million, bringing him to The Hawthorns on a three-year contract with an option for a fourth season.
Ideye has been waiting for his visa issues to be cleared up, which has prevented him from joining his new side in training.
Now, the Nigeria international will have to get up to speed quickly to integrate himself into manager Alan Irvine's team, which opens its Premier League campaign on Aug. 16 against Sunderland.
